1.A. WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPATHOS ONLINE TRAINING?

To optimize your user experience in our online training, you need to meet the following system requirements:

WINDOWS: Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome (latest version), Mozilla Firefox (latest version)
MAC: Safari (latest version), Google Chrome (latest version), Mozilla Firefox (latest version)
ANDROID: OS 4.1 and later, Google Chrome (latest version)
iOS (iPad & iPhone): Safari (latest version) or Google Chrome (latest version)

NOTE: Pop-up blocker must be turned OFF. If you get an error message that content is playing in another window when no other window is open, this is because the pop-up blocker on your device is turned ON. Please turn OFF the pop-up blocker, close and relaunch the browser and try accessing the course again and it should work.

 

1.B. DO I NEED AN INTERNET CONNECTION TO VIEW A COURSE?

Internet access is required to participate in our online training. Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) can provide you with the software and access necessary to use the Internet in order of preference:

  • Broadband (LAN, Cable or DSL) connection is highly recommended for optimal user experience.
  • Satellite and/or Cellular (3G/4G) may also be used.

If you connect to the Internet through your company, you may need to ensure that appropriate access rights are available to you. Check with your IT department to ensure you may access our training from your company’s network.

 

1.C. CAN I USE A MOBILE DEVICE SUCH AS A TABLET OR SMARTPHONE?

While tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices may allow for some completion of our training, they are not guaranteed to work in all areas. Please be sure you have a Windows- or Mac-based computer available to complete training in the event your selected mobile device does not meet the needs of the training.

 

1.D. WHY DO YOU NEED MY EMAIL ADDRESS TO DELIVER TRAINING?

A valid email address is required to participate in our online training. You need to remove Spam blockers that may prevent you from receiving email from Empathos Training. See HERE for more on whitelisting us in your email client. Also, if you change your email address, you need to update your Empathos user account  with the correct address to ensure you will receive our automatic email notifications.

 

1.E. WHAT SHOULD MY COMPUTER’S SCREEN RESOLUTION BE SET AT?

Your screen resolution (size) should be set at a minimum of 1024×768 or higher.
